tim is ‘your ideal companion through everyday mobility’, promises the service, which has been appearing in and around Graz in the form of mobility hubs since 2016. The idea is to make mobility without your own car so simple and uncomplicated – so flexible and cost-effective – that you don’t miss it at all. The concept is based on being able to use all mobility services from a single source. Exactly when and where you need them. This will allow the use of (e-)car sharing, rental cars and also e-taxis with one card linked to an annual tram and bus pass. The locations chosen provide good connections to public transport, complementing the network of lines in more sparsely populated urban areas. tim is a step towards an urban future that puts the emphasis on using instead of owning, on sharing resources for the benefit of all.
