NO MORE BITTER PILLS, 2020
Concept: Christine Braunersreuther, David Kranzelbinder (Pavelhaus – Pavlova hiša), Adina Camhy

Bildunterschrift

The artistic/curatorial poster campaign on solidarity with 24-hour care workers is largely based on the demands of IG 24, the representation of interests for 24-hour caregivers.
Braunesreuther and Simona Ďurišová (IG 24) write that care workers are among the most affected losers of the corona crisis. It quickly became clear: clapping, as widely practised during the first lockdown, is not enough. The fact remains that theses system-preserving professions are precariously paid. In order to raise awareness of this state of affairs, the artist Adina Camhy designed posters that call for more appreciation of care work. NO MORE BITTER PILLS continues her project. The posters were shown in the exhibition HILFSLINIEN - Linije pomoči in the Pavelhaus – Pavlova hiša, but were also distributed in public space.
